At the end of the day hard to Blame Bowles or Gailey

Here is why...

1: Marshall Drops a deep pass early in the game... tone setting
2: Devin Smith Drops a perfect pass that would have been a TD
3: Fitz Makes and awful 3rd down throw to Decker across the middle late in the game
4: No pass rush in critical situations.. we have guys on our DL that need to win battles everydown without blitzing and they are not
5: Not sure who was at fault for not covering Alfred Blue out of the backfield for the trck play for the TD but jesus the announcers called it asking for Shorts to throw the ball....

and thats just to name a few plays that had nothing to do with coaching... 5 huge mistakes. Maybe you can say the team isn't disciplined because of coaching but I don't think so. Players need to make the plays and none of these plays were nothing but routine plays that the players just didn't make... make these plays and this game is Jets 31 Houston 17 at worst..

Yes Bowles made some mistakes with clock management, again, at the end and Gailey had some very questionable play calls yesterday but at the end of the day if the players make those plays neither one of those 2 things matter. We have improvements to make as a coaching staff but the players have to make the plays...

I agree its not Bowles but OC Gailey & RB- LB-Safeties & now CB's. Jets GM, MM will fix it next year if he doesnt run Jets over the cap. Right now Revis-Cro-Harris are not playing anywhere close to pay. Oh that includes Gailey who I couldnt stand his play calling & coaching after Steelers. lol

+1 exactly. Just to hit on #4, J.J. Watt showed why he gets the contract he signed, Wilkerson isn't on that level. No one is. So if Mo is holding out for a Watt type contract, someone show him the tape of yesterdays game. Mo is good, the best the Jets have but he's not getting Watt money. This "vaunted" D-line cannot pressure the QB well enough without blitzing. In the preseason i thought Wilkerson,Richardson and Williams would be in opponents backfield on every snap creating havoc without any blitzing, that is not the case, and the Jets have played some subpar O-lines.
