I hope the coaching staff starts to give this man some touches. Something positive always happens when he gets the ball

Amen, he shows more speed then Forte and can catch the ball as well... IMHO he should get as many touches as F...

forte for the most part has been productive but powell is visibly more sudden, faster & the more powerful runner..

this is two years running gailey has made powell a very effective afterthought.. why, i have no idea..

Powell is the 3rd down back, and you typically don't pass to your rb on 3rd down,as a primary receiver.
Powell should be fresh late in the year, and I love his shifty running style. I think they are using Forte to absorb a lot of pounding runs because he can handle it better.

He's an excellent understudy to Matt Forte. I just don't think it would be wise to feature him over Forte. I think he could fill in a pinch for a certain period of time. But I believe if he were featured over the long haul it would cause him to become injury prone. Just my thoughts/suspicions.

With that said, I very much believe he should be getting more touches...

This CS has a tendency to go away from what works and I'm confused as to why. We have some talented players so why don't we ride the hot hand?

Last year we completely went away from Ivory down the stretch. The last game against Buffalo they put him in late and he immediately ripped the longest run of the game, only to get banded back to the bench.

The CS keeps making puzzling decisions that really no one understands but them. Let's see what the rest of the season brings

Ivory was injured, they had to severely limit his exposure.
