I got the Jets, just give me a few minutes.
Jets select:
Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame
I love Braxton Miller, huge upside, but he's a recent QB to WR convert and a bit of a gamble. Still has a lot to learn as a route runner, which makes him a project at the next level. I still love him, but he's far from a sure thing.lmao bad pick with Braxton Miller a hybrid receiver/quarterback and possible returner still on the board... but it is your pick and I will agree with it for now until we do version 2.0...

Fuller, OTOH, is easily the most lethal deep threat in this draft, blazed a 4.32 at the combines and he plays to his forty time in pads, posted big numbers at ND. Devin Smith can't stay healthy and we need a deep threat we can rely on. If Smith does stay healthy moving forward, then we have two burners with starting WR potential down the road. Gailey uses a lot of spread and multiple WR packages. Its good to have speed to compliment the bigger possession wideouts on the outside.
Marshall
Decker
Fuller
Smith
Enunwa
Thats a terrific WR Corp, whoever we keep at 6 in gravy, if we even keep six.
We have a lot of size with Marshall, Decker and Enunwa, what we need is some complimentary speed. Smith was supposed to provide that last year, but he was mostly injured and ineffective. He still might develop into a HR Hitter, but it can't hurt to have two if Smith succeeds, and a legit alternative if he doesn't.Fuller's size makes him a bad fit for Gailey's system... He likes tall esq. receivers so maybe a Micheal Thomas or Kenny Lawler Jr. fit better but like I said your choice I will stand by it for this first mock...
GMF, I totally forgot that Devin Smith tore his ACL in December until you reminded me in another thread.
That said, now I feel even better about the Will Fuller pick than I did before. As I said earlier, that was more of a value pick for me when I made it. I preferred to address bigger needs, but the value for Fuller was too much to pass up. But now that I remember Smith tore his knee and who knows when he'll be back, or if this will cost him some speed, I feel like Fuller fills a big need (for speed) as well as being terrific value at 51.
