Brian Flores - serious question

I definitely wouldn't because it sets a horrible precedent.

it is not like this is Saleh's second or third season but it was his first and it does not look good to rid a coach hand picked by the GM to be the guy in the restructure of the organization that has been just there for a long time...
I know it is a business but to replace Saleh after one year won't give Flores the confidence that the GM won't do the same to him if someone better becomes available...
Saleh was a shiny new toy on the market too when JD inked him.
Flores is not shiny or new any longer, but i would understand the interest if we were in a spot to hire a HC.
aside from the circus atmosphere it would create, as well as, the perception of no loyalty to a program it would generate, i would say no.
1.) we finally have an on field CEO of the coaching staff; not a guru or a HC who only coaches one side of the ball.
2.) we finally have a HC who works to perfect systems on both sides of the ball.
we gotta give this guy quality players and quality in the depth of players coming off the bench before we pull the plug on his tenure.
right now, i am excited about building this from the ground up, and he seems to be in this for the long haul.

I like most of what people have been saying so far. I was curious how people would respond considering the blind faith that many have in Joe Douglas.
I was asking about Flores because I think he outcoached Saleh in the 2nd Jets-Dolphins game. Saleh in one season, hasn't done anything egregious enough to warrant replacement. He hasn't done much to make me excited about next season either.

again I will say this: this year was an evaluation period for this coaching staff to implement their game plans to set the standard...
now that the Jets coaching staff is coaching at the Senior Bowl with the National team they are getting hands on work with a good amount of prospects heading to the draft... That being said they will continue to build the roster with players that fit the scheme they implemented this season and next year we should see an ample increase of production both sides of the ball...
comparing how coaches performed when Saleh did NOT call offense nor defensive play calls saying he was outcoached is ridiculous... Flores works with his DC but we see him on the mic speaking during the time one would call plays not 100% positive but believe he is the one calling plays during the game...
I say we need to stick with the salad man. But for the cards to hire flores????

If we fired Kingsbury after the first 8 games ,& hired Flores we would have been undefeated.
