Douglas is at fault. he signed these turds to the offensive line. Tons of cap space and numerous high draft choices. Douglas bargain basement shop for the offensive line when he has a new young QB coming in.
Kinda early to place blame here. Although the media gets paid for creating a story which really isn't. We were told to be patient, in essence, relax. Not to compare but GB got creamed by the Saints. It wasn't even competitive. Do you think the Packers are panicking? Way too early. Let's see how they respond to adversity. Now that definitely exists after week one.
JD has tried to fix the OL, but so far has whiffed. Starting with Ryan Kalil. Then McGovern doesn't seem to be a good center. He should have drafted one. Becton was a high risk/high reward that so far has been a complete bust. Moses might work, but I don't think teams were beating down his door to sign him. The jury is out on AVT.
Fire that bum Saleh!!!! I don't care if he is a rookie head coach trying to rebuild a dumpster fire of a roster! It should only take one off season to rebuild arguably the worst team in the NFL! I want instant satisfaction! A superbowl win and 22 pro bowlers on this team or it's completely unacceptable! Also fire that 12 year old look alike QB, if he can't throw 6 TDs in his first game he's useless!
Doggone right enough with these 50 years rebuilding plans. We demand they get to the Super Bowl this year. Anything else is unacceptable. Glad you agree.
The new Cleveland regime did it right after Baker Mayfield was in the "Question Mark Club" with other new quarterbacks.
They drafted a lineman #1, they paid big money to a vet free agent, and continued working on the core of the team. Now they are a force to be reckoned with.
JD proved, a GM cannot be considered good until he checked off many more boxes than JD has checked. I like him , and I think he will grow better into the job. We don't need a penny-pinching Idzik again.
Who knows what would have happened with a tandem of Robby Anderson and Sam? ............Oh wait.

Saleh just got the job, give him time. Becton still young, needs time to grow. McGovern and Van Roten need to be released. draft there replacements.
JoeD is clearly not done building the OL, but I suspect we will see incremental improvement throughout the year. Hopefully enough to keep Wilson standing.
I guarantee they will draft accordingly...
Greg Van Roten also GVR in his final year of his contract...
Center, McGovern is still under contract for next season albeit non-guaranteed so he could be moved...
Hopefully Clark will be back this season and he can take over at RG for GVR...
Expect two things next draft they take a center maybe Luke Matthews from Texas A&M or Alec Lindstrom from Boston College...
Also wouldn't be surprised for the team to delve into another guard/tackle type maybe Evan Neal from Alabama or Zion Johnson from Miami...
Need a guy that can anchor down at RT while being able to move horizontally in the zone blocking scheme and both are possible...
With two #1's and two #2's in next years draft which is still a long ways off. A Center, RG, and RT needed unless Becton is shifted around and we draft a LT. I only see one of them being taken in the first 4 picks as we'll need a CB, DE, LBer, TE and maybe a Curtis Martin type RB.
first off they are good at CB, the coaching staff believes in this group...
LB is one of the mysteries and I do expect them to shop Mosley then draft his replacement...
Tight End they will draft but not that high... The current receiver style tight ends are ranked 4th and 5th round right now...
they will draft a center and or a right tackle... This coaching staff had Cameron Clark above GVR at RG and hopefully Clark can come back this year and compete... Just because Clark fits better in this zone blocking scheme...
they are going to have to draft a safety even if the franchise Maye... with Ashtyn Davis they are still going to need that guy... Would love Kyle Hamilton from ND but Donovan Stiner from Florida is more Saleh/Ulbrich type of player... Definitely a 2nd round pick...
Jamison Crowder, Braxton Berrios and Keelan Cole are all either in the final year or only signed one year deal do you think all three will be back?
Jeff Smith is ERFA so he is on the cheap...
So Corey Davis, Elijah Moore and Denzel Mims next year are the only receivers under contract... Well Jeff Smith too... This is another area they can address through the draft early or later... Round 2 Jahan Dotson, Penn State...
So there you have two Number 2s being used on safety and receiver...
the number 1s probably will address OL and LB... What about Kayvon Thibodeaux for LB/EDGE?

Kayvon Thibodeaux DE/EDGE probably would go #3 after the 2 QB's. Might be where the Jets might be picking.
Thibodeaux or Stingley may be it, if the Jets have that high a pick.
