Just that time of year. Hughes started that rumor but he's also said the Jets first choice is Geno Smith today and has named several others. Every one will link every QB to every team so they can claim they were right.
It's all bullshit until Monday when the tampering window opens and the deals that in many cases are already done can be announced.
