Dontario Drummond Scouting ReportDrummond has very good speed. He should run in the 4.45-4.49 range. His game is more of a “Beat you with speed to the spot” style. Dontario has impressive body control. He has smooth acceleration. He has exceptional explosive lateral quickness. He has some good footwork to really get into some of his routes. Dontario ran an excellent route-tree at Ole Miss. His has good hands. Drummond shows a decent catch radius. His hands are fairly consistent. Drummond is a suitable deep threat receiver, though more of his effectiveness will be underneath. Dontario is an incredible receiver running after the catch. He displays strong, running back type body. He is very smart to find space in zone coverage, and has the ability to move up in the pocket. Has great contact balance, like a running back. He is very strong after the catch. He offers some strength on the perimeter as a run blocker. |
Areas for ImprovementHis separation will be the biggest thing that we want to see from Dontario Drummond. As of now, he’s viewed more as an after the catch receiver that has to be somewhat schemed into space. If he can consistently beat cornerbacks across the field, he’s going to really boost his value.

Dontario Drummond Career at Ole MissHe enrolled in East Mississippi community college in 2017 and graduated with Associates of Arts Degree and Athletic Training in 2019. Moreover, he graduated with Bachelor in General Studies from the University of Mississippi in 2020. He ultimately enrolled with Ole Miss Rebel on 22nd January 2019. He’s a player loaded with potential whose reserved personality has made his hot start to the 2021 season a surprise to outsiders. He leads the team in most receiving categories, he remains the second-most famous player at his own position on the team behind. Dontario Drummond NFL Draft Player ProfileHe is a wide receiver with very good size who frequently aligns in the slot and even at F tight end. Drummond shows good, reliable hands making him a possession receiver who can hang on through contact, pluck off-target passes and accelerate through the catch. A tough receiver, Drummond is willing to go over the middle and take a hit. He is a good route runner who pays attention to detail when setting up defenders and getting sharply in and out of his breaks. He has above-average hip sink and suddenness, allow him to separate on in-breaking routes against off coverage. After the catch, Drummond is strong, dragging defenders for extra yards and displaying good contact balance to stay on his feet. He is often asked to make key blocks at the second level.
