First look at the Jets & Denver game

Again, this is a game we can win IMO. I agree with some on here they have to step the game back a little for Mr. Wilson. Slow it down a little without making him into a three yard passer. This can be done if we can get the running game going & stay with it. It also means the D must hold their own. Then open it up with a few longer passes on first or second & short. Anyway this is my take.....

Sorry but I just don’t see it. I’m going to be totally and candidly honest from this point as it helps me not to fool myself. Denver defense is strong, stingy and nasty. The rest of their team is solid all around. Plus Bridgewater is probably the ultimate game manager and not known for making costly mistakes. Hopefully Zach has a better game and the oline and running game can do their part in helping him in establishing that. Jets lose by 10 points at least!

I’m with you on that one. Baby steps at this point. Maybe we can go this game with an int and Zach throwing the ball no more than 25 times. Establish the run and try to keep the QB pressures under 5 times. Maybe unrealistic but it’s worth a shot!

LOL, something reasonable would be nice. Maybe not allowing a sack (lets keep him upright). Show us he understands that he needs to throw the damn ball away at times? Run some plays that are quick reads, quick throws, like some slants across the middle???

The funny thing now with all the stats that they use in sports. A wise man once said no matter what you do you win 33%of the games & no matter what you do you lose 33% of the games........the difference is in the middle for 90% of the teams.......

More play action and some RPOs would be nice to. No he’s not Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen but talented and fast enough to run for 5-10 yards a few times a game, and slide or run out of bounds. Keep the chains moving is the key.
