Fitzpatrick: Jets' brass stopped believing in me

Neither QB should be talking about the owner, GM or CS losing faith in them. Both Fitz and Geno have hit rough patches during their time here. If you don't get results, you can't be bitter about getting benched. Fitzpatrick stunk for 4 out of the first 6 games. He wasn't getting it done, so he should accept the demotion.
I thought Geno looked good overall, with the exception of a few plays like the sack where he got injured. It'll be interesting to see who starts the next few games if Geno's not hurt that bad. The media drama over this is going to be nauseating.
1-5 and was on pace to break the all-time INT's record.
I think he was the lowest ranked QB in the NFL thru six games too?

BOTH Geno and Fitz blew their chances at starting. The Jets are right in having lost faith. I just wish they'd do the same with Geno.......
Yeah you may wish they do that but Geno shows potential and still fairly young and that's why they haven't yet. I can't blame them but 9 times out 10 Geno will screw it up. So have faith because he won't let you down. Hopefully he's starting next week because if he isn't, I probably won't be watching the game. I can't stand another second watching that horrid Fitzgarbage on the field as a Jet.
I don't want to see either of them.
Granted Geno is still young and he might still have a future in this league, but he's in the walk year of his contract and whatever future he has, it won't be with the Jets, so there is no purpose to playing him now, its completely without purpose, we need to start finding out about Petty and Hack, starting with Petty, so we can assess where we stand at QB heading into the draft.
This sucks if Fitz starts to win. I want Petty. I would rather lose and find out what we have. It was reported the Vikings wanted Petty not Smith after Tedy went down. Lets find out why.

HAHAHA! What is with Jets 2 QB's? Are you kidding me Fitz? What 11 INTs in 2 games & played like trash & Jets & Fans should believe in you? Yeah Fitz is better accurate passer than Geno & has better pocket awareness & can take the ball under Center better than Geno, BUT come on. Any QB that plays that bad is going to get BENCHED! Fitz..YOU are responsible for your own benching & no one else, so stop whining & play right & guess what? You will be Jets starting QB!
Honestly its time for Jets 2nd round drafted SUPER rookie franchise QB to come in & show us Jets fans how the savior of Jets future looks! Come on Mikey & Bowles , start the Pro Style ready QB you Drafted to win out the season with his Geno like arm strength of inaccuracy passing. Quit drafting arm strength QB's that cant put the ball within reach of WR's! Always too far in front or behind. No wonder why Jets havent drafted a QB since 1965. Jets QB's talk....he can pass 90yds but can hit anyone..
I think this is way overblown. To me, all he was saying was that because of his terrible play everyone at the top, EXCEPT himself, had stopped believing in him. That was absolutely true. He didn't say it wasn't deserved which many in the media are now harping on.
I like his steady, rock solid, self confidence which our 2 young guns are watching, even if it's just for a few more games until Petty is ready to get his shot.

he was making excuses that the front office didn't believe in him as a leader on and off the field the problem he failed to mention he got paid a decent compensation not to throw as many picks as he has so far this season... it's not they lost faith in Fitz otherwise he wouldn't of been suited up as backup to Geno... he was benched because he over thinks the play and tries to force the issue, how do we know that well those 11 picks in two games was proof...
but those interceptions are also on the carte blanche that Gailey gave Fitz running the offense... play call comes in, run -- Fitz sees a matchup that he feels or thinks is a great advantage to us, and in reality it is trap for him to throw into and he does... but the original play call a run, he audibles to pass not vice versa...

Well it looks back we're back to the garbage of Ryan Fitzgarbage. With Geno out for the year now. Geno just can't catch a break. Whether he brings it on himself or just bad luck, he just catch a break. Gotta feel bad for the dude but it wasn't like he was going to prove anyone wrong. I don't think anyway. Yes he would of been better the Fitz zero, which ain't saying much at all but he would have been an improvement for a short while anyway. Until he screwed up enough after about 4 games and then it would have been Petty time. Hopefully Petty will be ready to go soon enough and until he is, I just can't watch that garbage ass Fitzpatrick anymore.
