20-20 Hindsight I have. I see Josh and I give a *sigh ...if only". Darnold was the hottest QB out of college. Didn't work for multiple reasons. Zach looks like he is his kid brother. I just can't see him having the consistency of Josh. Why? Zach will make a play here and there that Josh won't, but the consistency to do that will probably not be there. The jaw-dropping by the fans testify to that. I want a smooth, fluid consistent QB. Not too much to ask for a fan who saw LBJ in the Oval Office when the Jets won the Super Bowl. (Left 6 days later) If I am impatient and/or greedy, I deserve to be with probably a million others!

As long as the OL gives him protection

Which can be said for anyone other than maybe Dan Marino or Aaron Rodgers. When you get the ball out that quickly it lessens the need for solid protection.

But for most other QB’s pass protection is a must. Look at Joe Burrow right now. His struggles are directly related to pressure coming against a struggling OL.

Wilson looked he was on his way to another big game today. Unfortunately that injury and short time off the field paused all of that. Oh, let’s not forget that the Bengals defense was all over Flacco majority of the game. Hopefully Zach can buy that extra 1-3 second we need to find the open players, especially Wilson!

Why isn’t Mims playing more? He wasn’t even activated today. What’s going on? Besides the fact that the Jets sucked all around (other than Sauce, G. Wilson and B. Hall ) doing their best. This team sucked all around. But my real question here is why isn’t Mims playing more? I guess a 6’3” talented sub 4.4 in the 40, WR can’t help this team at all!

Side note: There’s talent all over this team on both side of the ball but until Zach Wilson returns, it means absolutely nothing!

We might have something in WR but we dont have the time to fuck around waiting to see if he is that WR with the 2nd year QB development NOW!! Again look at Miami who got a WR to help their QB or Bills who vot that WR for their QB. Jets needed a Vet WR on team at begining of season and is crucial to Zach development this year. Remember Zach is a high risk reward QB pick and to have any chance for him Jets had to fix O Line and get a Vet WR. Jets dont ha ve anything to help Zach in 2nd year, its sa.e crap as last year waiting to see draft picks get better. Problem is QB Zach this was the year to build confidence and skills knowing he has a sure thing WR to be open and catch the pass along with a solid O Line to protect him for 3 seconds. Jet dont have either and are waiting to see when we need a QB NOW!!!
