very enjoyable game. I just wish brady had been there to be a part of it. the only talent on that team sat out for covid. they are no better off than the Jets right now. brady new there was nothing left and bolted out of the now superior afc into the now mediocre nfc to a team with a great offensive line, defense, receivers and runningbacks and then brought in all his buddies and he's still a wildcard
Here's the best part - Unlike other years where you signed up for a certain SB run, the FA players who are are worth a damn (Tuney) will seek employment elsewhere. They won't want to play under the old school beatdown coach with an increasingly crappy team. We started to see it last year with Van Noy, Brady, etc. Let the floodgates open.
It will be nice to hand Bill and the Pats their 10th loss this week.
I'm not sure belichick can rebuild this team again either
every year he just added a few free agents who wanted a ring cause the core group was already there. he never had to worry about drafting good players
and lets not forget Scarnechia was there before Belichick and when Scarnechia retired it took only a year for Belichick to get him un retired. brady spent 20 years behind the best and most under rated offensive line there ever was and every time one of those lineman left , they went somewhere else and stunk while Scarnechia plugged in someone else and never missed a beat. ....and all that is now gone
plus, this year the afc finally got some good teams and belichick finally played the hardest schedule in football which sent brady running with her tail between her legs

it just better be for brady too. he is in a way better situation on a very talented team, in the nfc which now, doesnt have much good
exactly. no longer can belichick say, " come play here for cheap and get a ring". I think its over. he started it by going to a Parcells built Patriots team. then after a year of sucking, he added a dozen Parcells guys from the Jets when Groh left and the Jets were dismantled . he used 2 Parcells teams to teach the way and the winning just kept going and going ...

Without Brady, Bill is just a good DC. Then again Cam is awful. I can't believe some were praising him that he is back after the first couple games.
Look Billy boy is a great coach. Look at the players Lombardi had & the SF coach & the Steelers 70's coach. The guy has eight rings as an Ast & HC. He is a great HC IMO. Yes I do hate him.
Also this year TB had 17 toughest schedule of teams they faced & NE had the toughest schedule. (yes it is about time).
