Exactly why I do not see our linebacker crew as "weak". It's only gotten stronger as time goes by, and less talk of CJ not returning.

I see a lot of fans and media bringing up Mosley’s contract every time his name comes up. Some fans say “what an albatross! He’s nowhere near worth that!” And media say “the Jets will not bring Mosley back after 2022 because of the money he’ll be owed”.

Did I miss something? Wasn’t Mosley one of our best players last year? He wasn’t injury prone with the Ravens, then suffered a season ending injury week one, then sat out the following season during a time when COVID was a new development and a great unknown that was killing a lot of people at the time.

He wasn’t coming to the Jets on a cheap deal. He wanted to get paid. Can’t blame him. And from all reports, he’s a great good leader and well respected. And he’s a good player, too. Why are some people so eager to unload a guy like this? He’s the best part of a very questionable unit on this team.(LB’s)
