As previously mentioned, I enjoyed Paul Christman who partnered on Ch 7 N.Y. (WABC) with Curt Gowdy in the infancy of the AFL on Sunday Afternoons. If a player was gang tackled, Christman would say, "Looks like the Broncos took a team picture on Billy Joe".
