FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, nursing what the team is calling a mild hamstring strain, isn't expected to practice Wednesday. His status for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is uncertain, and that's troubling because they will face the dangerous Antonio Brown.

Revis, walking gingerly, was on the practice field for stretching and light warmups, but he didn't have a helmet or pads -- meaning he won't practice. He was injured early in the fourth quarter in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Presumably, Marcus Williams will get Revis' reps with the base defense.

Wide receiver Eric Decker (shoulder), right guard Brian Winters (concussion) and tight end Braedon Bowman (undisclosed) also aren't expected to practice. Decker, battling a partially torn rotator cuff, has virtually no chance of playing Sunday.

Rookie wide receiver Jalin Marshall (torn labrum) was fielding punts, although that doesn't mean he will participate in team drills.

Marcus Wiliams covering Antonio Brown. Yeah, I'm sure that'll be just fine.

Roethlisberger is salivating right now. :global (36):

Decker and Winters officially ruled OUT. Revis is doubtful. Enunwa is questionable.

The hits keep coming. Looks like Juston Burris, our 4th round rookie, will be starting. And I've gotta think if Enunwa can't go, ASJ will definitely play.
