So on the Mike Greenberg radio show yesterday, he brought up the fact that in the last 20 years, there have been four rookie QBs that have thrown 4 ints and 0 tds in a game. Want to guess on who it is:

1. Zach Wilson (obviously this past Sunday)
2. Sam Darnold (not surprising at all)
3. Mark Sanchez (not surprising either)

So that's three or the four rookie QBs from our organization, what a DAMN SHAME but it's not surprising at all. The Jets franchise just never seems to amaze me with the bullshit! When will this cycle of negativity end?

Did you think this team was going to be good?? I hope not. They don't have a single proven weapon on offense. Oh wait, they do, but the coaches chose to sit him. Its laughable how some experts said Wilson was the next Rodgers when he probably is the next Darnold. Players, fans and some experts said Elijah Moore was winning rookie of the year. And all I see is why he slipped out of the 1st round. If Wilson keeps making same mistakes then we can draft his replacement since we are going to have the #1 pick next year. Then we can just Josh Rosen him.

Come on with the negativity here TCT! Such negativity my Jets friend. All I’m saying is it’s just ironic or maybe it isn’t that in the past 20 years and who knows, maybe in NFL history the team that probably has the most issues with the rookie QB is ours. But hopefully this regime changes that.

I mean it’s only the second game and I still have the upmost confidence in Joe D, Saleh, Lafluer, the DC, the rest of the CS, Zach and the other players. Zach, the team, GM and the CS have plenty of time to grow. I say as long as we can win about 4-5 games this year and be competitive in about 5-7 more. Which we were in the Carolina game.

Let’s say the next season they win 2-3 more on top of that and stay competitive in a few more. I’d say we are on our way to bigger and better things and breaking this spell or whatever you want to call it of negativity.

Well I was one who felt we should have kept Darnold and auctioned the #2 overall pick for a slew of #1's and #2's and rebuild this team. Now that's water under the bridge. We have have Wilson. He's going to make mistakes. He's going to learn. We don't have Gase to destroy him. He'll probably be running for his life with our OL and learning to rely on his RB's and TE's, while establishing a relationship with his wideouts. Lets give him time. We are not a playoff team. We have high draft picks next year and may have a pick high enough to auction it off. Joe Namath was not a star in his first year.

Hahaha,INTs? 4 INTs? Nope. Zach was not at fault for 4 INTs. Couple of those INTs that goes through the WR hands and we blaming Zach? Lmao. Thats like blaming 1 guy for loss when there is a whole team of guys. Wait! We do that all the time.

We were both watching the same game. Talk about brainwashed. I thought one, possibly two INTs were batted around like a volleyball
making Zach not the culprit. After reading about it, hearing the pundits, I gave into him throwing 4 passes into the opponents hands. Nope.

You see negativity and I see realism. This coaching staff has completely failed Wilson. They are asking too much from him. Run the ball. Then run the ball some more. Short passes like Mac Jones and then build confidence.

I don’t know. They never said and I didn’t look it up. Probably Jamarcus Russell or Akili Smith or Ryan Leaf or Eli Manning. It might even been Peyton Manning, I mean he did throw a rookie record of 28 in a season.

Your realism is facts, no doubt! I can’t debate that but it’s only the second game of the season. Zach has much better weapons than Sam ever had. Other than Robbie Anderson. A much better oline than Sam’s three years here. Zach has a much better GM than Sam ever had. He has much better coaching than Sam ever had. So give them time, they’ll get it together. It’s just going to take more time than we expected. The average age of this team is 25 years. What were we expecting really!!!

my memery says, and it could be wrong,

1 was batted around
1 went through the receivers hands. meaning if he was brady's reciver he would have made a great catch but the commentator would have called it a great pass
1 was right to the defender
and the 4th looked like a punt but netted less yards

no matter who's fault any of the past 2 weeks have been, it just looks like same old Jets so far. the curse is in full force.

I think most of us just wanted to see something that made it seem like the same old Jets had left the building. not the two blowouts we got. and yes week 1 was a blow out. we were embarrased in the first half and made a semblance of a comeback too late. and Zach was damn near killed
