Is September 2nd when the Jets are officially eliminated?
Nope….. mid august after a plethora of injuries
@innocenti and @TebowCan'tThrow are competing for who can be the most negative. It’s a neck and neck tie heading into the final turn.
Believe it or not, I'm not negative. But I'm a realist. However, I'm joking around about Sept 2.
Even so, can’t you sense something different about this franchise ? The way the team is being built and the way the GM and HC appears to be acting around each other .
Rather than answer your question directly out risk of being called a pessimist, I will say this. I do like Saleh. But then again, I liked Todd Bowles also. I'm apprehensive about JD and I was also apprehensive about MM, Idzik, and Macc. And I probably talked the latter 3 up...not because I believed in them but because these were the guys we had to work with.
I think you're the type of person who thinks that the only way to properly build a franchise is to start from a clean slate...and that's a rarity from Superbowl winning teams.

Actually I’m the type of person who believes in continuity. I like to start with a plan, develop people that can continue the process due to inevitable loses so you don’t have a down turn . Of all the HCs we’ve had the one I liked the most was Herman Edwards and it was because he wasn’t a coordinator. He simply managed the team but unfortunately never worked with a GM who supported his vision.
I think Zach Wilson is going to the Hall.
