Is this the worst season in Jets history?

Another reason this is a terrible season is that after watching the Chiefs game it is obvious that the Patriots are in the Superbowl again. And I can't see a credible opponent from the NFC.

Yup. Home field is wrapped up already. Hard to see a way that they don't go undefeated.

the only hope is the Saints. Brees vs brady. Classic battle of good vs evil. Good guys always win in the movies

Franscesa opened up his schpiel yesterday with the jets, they are so bad, that's all I'm going to say. I don't even want to talk about them until they start to resemble a real NFL team. They are absolutely unwatchable.

I say we probably win three games max at this point. The schedule actually finishes pretty strong (not in our favor) for our Jets. We have the Cowboys, Patriots and Jaguars over the next three weeks. Doesn't matter where we play them or who we play them with, even with a full roster the Jets are going to lose these three games. After that they play the Dolphins, Giants, Redskins, Raiders, Bengals and the Dolphins again. In that span of 6 games, MAYBE (notice the emphasis on this) we can win 3 of them. After that, we play the Ravens, Steelers and Bills and we know those will be three more losses. (3-13) it appears to be people! We’ve had quite a few seasons like this so the record doesn’t indicate it being the worse but with the expectations of the season being much better then this, it just might be the worse.

We actually have the easiest remaining schedule in the league. Dolphins x2, Washington, and Bengals all winless. Steelers 1 win, will be playing 3rd string QB, Giants and Jags 2 wins both very beatable. We had the Bills Beat with Darnold I'll with Mono until Mosley went out. Both will be back along with Copeland and Herndon. Don't expect much vs Cowboys and Pat's but there are 7 easy games and 3 winnable games to close out the season.
Not exactly a strong schedule.
Sadly, the Jets will find enough wins to put top draft pics out of reach and lessen any trade back value.

agreed.. the jets aren't (ever) even good at being bad..

if darnold gets through this shit show season healthy, i'd be thrilled..

With no Darnold this is an awful Jets team. Possibly the worst ever. Darnold changes everything. He gives hope. Without him the Jets have no hope. I have no idea if he can turn this season around, but I know he will make the season worth paying attention to. We are getting a very good TE and LB back. Hopefully Mosley will get healthy quick. The defense has been decent even without those LB's. The offense has been awful without Darnold and Herndon. As much as I think we will be 0-6, I do feel the Cowboys are reeling and could be without both tackles this week. The Pats don't look great right now. If we could steal a win in the 2 weeks especially at home I think this team will have a different attitude. They all know Darnold gives them hope.

I like the negative Tebow better. Cheetahs don't look that good? This is funny, the Jets scored 14 against them and that is more than anyone else has. The bills have the second most at 10. They look just like they always do. Like they videotaped the other teams practices and they know every play before it happens. Of course they have been videotaping the other teams practices but that's neither here nor there

I know you like the negative (realistic) version better, but I knew we could beat the Cowboys and I think the Pasts are due as well. No matter how negative people on this forum think I have been the one thing I have always said is that the Jets organization is the only thing that can screw up Darnold. He is going to win SB or multiple one someday and I really hope its with us.
