In the next five to ten years is all with one man. Everything rests with JD. He got us to 2-14 that is it now. But our next five to ten years rests on his shoulders. Lets hope he does not choke on his next pizza. It starts with a coach & scouts QB then FA's then the draft plus he has a few years to get it right, On top of that the Johnson twins need to stay out of his way. It is a long list for him. We are not five players away now.

I think what JD did was always part of the plan. You can't get anywhere stuck in the mediocrity of 6-8 Winland. You're never good enough to compete or bad enough to draft the elite talent to build a winner.

He burnt it down. Trading players for picks, picking up guys on one-year deals to allow for both cap room and for potential future compensatory picks.

It's a bold plan because it is so ugly early. But get the right HC, the right QB, and top guys in the next most important positions (LT, CB, Edge, C, WR), and you could be onto something.

Still a lot of work to be done. But at least the addition by subtraction is coming to an end, and will be replaced by the addition by addition.

Hard to feel sorry for Jets who had the first pick and a Franchise changing QB right there by making sure you lose next 3 games. Lmfao Jags made damn sure losing by starting worst QB starting because they know QB like this doesnt happen often. Im sick of watching Jets not take the right QB in Draft after Namath in 1965. Marino made me notice Jets inept Drafting QBs..the last one was Josh Allen we actually traded up to 3rd and was there for Jets. I was Shocked Jets took Darnold and told son Jets passed on another QB. So Jets had many chances to better this team with QBs and either pass on them or just stupid or both. Ive had enough of it. There is a risky QB at BYU Zack Wilson who might be good. To be honest none at QB stands out as sure as Jags new QB. Jags deserve to get their QB being smart and not winning. Congrats to Jags and Jets Im sure will again take or do the wrong pick at QB,maybe Ohio QB like Darnold clone?
