Areas for ImprovementCochrane attacks the line but needs work on stacking and shedding blocks. He is a tweener who lacks the bulk and strength to be a thumper inside and is not fast enough to stay on the weak side in the NFL. He plays upright. He ducks his head and fails to wrap up at times. He inconsistent in giving full effort to be the second man in on the play. He must learn to use hands to beat blocks. Cochrane has inconsistent read/react skills with streaky awareness when asked to drop in coverage. He is like a bull in a China shop with his aggressive style of play which causes him to play undisciplined and overpursue. He does not have enough speed, power or bulk to fit any linebacker position perfectly in the NFL.
