TCT, there is no trade value to Adams because you simply don’t trade a player like that! What is the issue with you and Adams dude? He is one of the best safeties in the game and pretty much balls out for our team every game. If he’s not balling out then he’s giving everything he’s got which is a contribution in itself. Us trading Adams would be like the Chargers trading Derwin James. You just don’t do it!

The reason you trade him is because he could bring you a player that helps the offense. We've won 13 god damn games with Adams. Our defense still sucks with him. Then again it doesn't really matter anyways. This team will never be a winner. Derwin goes out and the Chargers fail. Adams doesn't play and we probably still have 13 wins in 3 years. I think he is a final piece to a defense not one of the only pieces.

The kid is fun to watch. Might as well keep him. We will never win anyone no matter who plays or coaches
You trade Adams and then you need to replace him? No way. You keep him and trust that Douglas can build this team into a competitor. Like I previously mentioned in another thread, this isn't a 1-year fix. Sadly, yet again, we're going to need to be patient.
I get both sides:
He is an incredible athlete, but also a diva... People are tired of the diva attitude and losing games so get rid of him because he has value... Then there are people say he is a cornerstone on defense to continue to build with...
I'm torn, I believe old school show rather than talk... Put your mouth on the field and perform... Be the mouth in the locker room, talk up your team mates... Rather at this point re-sign Matthias Farley even tho he is 27 and trade the chip for draft capitol and hopefully we get it right in the draft for needs that this team the whole team has needs...
I like the kid, like his bravado but sometimes it is too much... Can JD build around him? not sure, so far he has made some competitive moves... Have to like Bless Austin, teams are starting to avoid to throw to his side of the field... Even the play of Arthur Maulet, Marcus Maye and Brian Poole... Our secondary is hurting because of the lack of talent at the inside linebacker position... Our defensive line presence during the three game win streak was evident then yesterday it was irrelevant... I think, the Jets can score another gem like Bless, and hope they re-sign Poole our secondary will be fine moving forward...
Until C.J. comes back on the field the team will be handicapped putting more pressure on the secondary over the middle...

Yeah I'm not saying trade him just to trade him, but Dallas might think he can put them over the top next year and for a 1st and 3rd I would do it. I'm not doing it for just a 1st. Now with that said I definitely wouldn't pay him what he will try to command.

The kid gets frustrated when we lose. So do fucking I. It would be incredibly hard to be a part of this mess and not say something wrong about it . especially for a 20 something year old. Im glad he hates losing and I'm glad he's frustrated by it. anyone who isn't is the one with the problem.
Sheldon richardson was the same and I liked him too. He hated to lose and hated the losing culture just like Adams does. They give it their all and they should expect to be better

Yes, exactly. You build a team around character players who rise to the occasion. Guys like that are your foundation for a winning mentality, and can’t be measured in trade-able commodities.
