While Quinnen Williams' pre-NFL Draft visit with the Jets has been well documented, the team is hosting another intriguing name -- who also plays Williams' position -- on Tuesday.
Former Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver is also meeting with the Jets, according to NFL Network's Ian Rappaport. The Jets own the No. 3 pick in the draft, and while Williams is certainly an option at that spot, Oliver is not as highly touted.
ESPN's Todd McShay has Oliver going 18th overall to the Vikings in his latest mock draft, in which he has the Jets pouncing on Williams with the third pick. But with the looming possibility the Jets could trade down in the first round, Oliver becomes a viable option for a team that could address its need on the interior defensive line through the early portions of the draft.

As a junior in 2018, Oliver played eight games and had 54 tackles (29) solo with 14.5 tackles-for-loss. That came off an impressive sophomore campaign when he first made significant waves with a 73-tackle season (16.5 for loss) and 5.5 sacks.
Oliver's NFL.com draft profile describes him as a "twitched-up ball of explosive fury from the moment he comes out of his stance, but his lack of NFL size and length creates challenges with his NFL projection. Oliver's athletic ability is beyond rare, but his ability to add and maintain mass could be the critical for his future success."
The Jets also had Hawaii linebacker Jahlani Tavai in for a visit Tuesday, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Per his NFL.com draft profile, Tavai is projected to be a mid-round selection and has an NFL frame but lacks explosiveness.
A shoulder injury held him to eight games during his senior year, when he recorded 82 total tackles (42 solo) with 5.5 tackles-for-loss and two sacks. While healthy, he racked up more than 120 tackles during his sophomore and junior campaigns.
