Jets wins this year ?

Actually they still don't know. They are guessing too. It's an educated guess I will admit because they are looking at the history of all these players. But.....it's still a guess. Most of these guys have never played together before. They might not even be able to get along with each other. On the other hand they might gel immediately,...............might. Most of them had down years last season, that's likely why almost all of them are on 1 year contracts with the signing money as their only guaranteed money. However, most of them also showed potential in previous seasons. I'm GUESSING that Glenn believes he can get that same result out of them with coaching. This early in the process a coin toss would be just as accurate. On the bright side though The Coon Cat says that you might get your wish at pick 7...............might.

The Jets won 5-games last year with the great, 1st ballot HOF Aaron Rodgers. HOW Is THAT BETTER than what we have this year?

Again how many times do I have to say .
He came off a devastating mostly career ending injury . It takes time not to just get on the field but to play at a high level . We started to see it at the end of the season no matter who the opponent was .

He’s probably one of the best to play the game .
Smarter than any coaches
One more year maybe two
Teaching a new young QB would have been the best thing this team could have done .

I’m done explaining the 5 wins
The defense sucked and so did the coaching staff
And I’ll throw in the kicker that cost us a few games

In fairness to the rest of the team, Rodgers had the ball in his hands 4-5 at the end of the game and couldn't get the win. Blame it on the kicker. Blame it on the defense. Blame it on the coaches. None of those guys are future HOF'ers so I expect them to fail. When he finally hit his "stride" in week 14 for his only 300 yard game since 2021, they lost. Then he had another good game vs Jags and won. Then lost vs Rams by leading the Jets to 9 points. Then vs Buffalo he had 114 yards and Tyrod led the lifeless team to 2 TD's. Rodgers unfortunately is never going to be the old Rodgers of 2021. He was at best going to lead the Jets to 8-9 wins, but based on last season that was unlikely. Why waste another year for mediocrity??
