Well, why not have this thread. At the start of his tenure, folk here knew him as 'Trader Joe' and exulted at the deal he got for Jamal Adams. Of course he had the draft where he added Garrett, Breece and Sauce. He tried to fix the offensive line, drafting Becton, AVT, Cam Clark, Mitchell, and Fashanu, and bringing in Tomlinson, Brown, Moses, Smith, and Simpson. When we drafted Becton there were suspicions about his speed but we anticipated LBs being pancaked on running plays and it looked that way until Becton got injured. Of course Clark washed out with a spinal condition and Mitchell looked promising until a blood disorder. Tomlinson inexplicably turned from a Pro Bowler into a scrub and Brown was retained for one season too long. Drafting Zach Wilson was a disaster followed by the Rodgers debacle but we don't know how big a part El Woodpecker played in those decisions. Both were exacerbated by the continuing O-line failure, but surely having gone through so many players Keith Carter must have something to do with that. Some say 'Trader Joe' will never get another NFL GM gig, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them confounded.
