Kolby Harvell-Peel NFL Draft Profile
|
Kolby Harvell-Peel Scouting ReportHarvel-Peel has a rocked up and filled out body that’s cut up throughout. He is an aggressive tackler that takes pride in putting his face on the opposition in single situations. As a tackler, he’s excellent with rolling his hips and running through ball carriers. Harvell-Peel is at his best when he can keep everything in front of him opposed to when he’s asked to turn and run in man-to-man situations. At his best when utilized as a strong safety or rover over the short middle and intermediate areas of the field. He’s also had plenty of ball production that has been more of a right place, right time type of occurrence. His turnover opportunities have resulted in easy opportunities from deep lobs over the middle of the field and tip passes that he’s reaped the benefits from.

Areas for ImprovementKolby is a bit stiff in the hips, his lack of mobility shows up when asked to come down and challenge slot options. He struggles to remain sticky and his movements become mechanical when placed in those situations. In a league that now relies heavily on safeties being interchangeable and fulfilling multiple roles on the back end, there’s only certain spots that Harvel-Peel will be able to play because of his average hips.
