I feel sorry for Gase. he obviously doesn't suck on purpose. he's got a family with some young kids if I remember and he will at some point be fired. partially cause he sucks and partially cause the team has no talent and an insane amount of injuries for 2 straight years. and he will have a hard time ever getting another NFL job after this mess that is the Jets, with or without him
yeah. I know, but still.he gets to publicly look foolish in front of his family... and most guys spend according to how much they make or believe they will make, so the millions are all relative
but yeah, he still has more $ than I ever will

Hi Domino’s, this is coach Gase with the Jets. I would like to order 60 pizzas for Friday late morning to be delivered to our practice field". What... yes I am the coach of the Jets why are you laughing?"
"What Mr. Johnson ordered one small pizza & a taxi for Friday morning. This can't be I am a genius they won't get rid of me that easy." Call my agent & ask him...I am the great one.....what his number is disconnected???? Stop laughing at me I won't tip your driver if you keep laughing......No what are you saying that Mr. Johnson gave the driver a $500.00 tip if he gets me the pizza before seven am. Look son I have other offers, Hollywood is after me to play the lead in the Ben Turpin story. The Jets will be sorry if they do this.....I could have brought them the number one draft pick this year.....You think our fat GM could promise that? Plus, anyone else they hire can't guarantee that.......only I can.
It’s all Darnold’s fault they pick this guy that sees ghosts & thinks the other team’s uniform is ours. What a dummy.....To stick this guy with me the great Gase is unfair. I should be matched with Brady, Mahomes or Wilson. instead they stick me with this guy that can't tell our team from the other teams.
Listen Gase this is Chris Johnson speaking ......I have been listening in on this call. Just because we give you an overweight GM does not mean we are totally incompetent. Plus, it was my brother that wanted Darnold don't blame me. & don't bring up Bell again as that was Woody that said sign that guy not me. My ideas have all been good ones, but Woody never listens to me. I still think that if we build an OL & DL all under 200 Lbs. we can save money on our food bill. Think of the profit we could have. Plus, the airlines would not charge us a weight penalty. Woody did say we need to cutdown on penalties did he not? Plus, my idea to have four punters so that we always have fresh legs in the game is a good one. We have to let you go but would you do us a little favor? Would you not collect on the rest of your contract……Otherwise Woody will yell at me again? I don’t like when he yells at me. Could you also put on dark glasses when you talk to me…it is hard to tell who you are looking at & you scare my dogs.

He's looking more foolish getting his ass kicked up and down the field on Sundays and being ridiculed the rest of the week. Better to sit home and collect millions for the next couple of years. He can coach his daughter's soccer team. Remember that was what he said he'd be doing if not for the Jets offer, because no other team showed him any interest.
