Jets CB Marcus Williams is week-to-week with an MCL sprain, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan. Amazing stat on Williams: He has a team-high five interceptions despite having played only 242 defensive snaps (roughly the equivalent of four full games). No wonder his teammates call him "The Playmaker."

This dude needs to be our starting CB next year opposite Revis. By releasing Crow after this year its a win-win, it saves us boat loads of money (cap space) AND we get an instant (massive) upgrade at the position with Williams.

BTW is Williams under contract for next year or do we control his rights?

After we cut Crow and re-sign Mo Wilkerson, I would work on an extension for Williams. Give the kid a raise cause he deserves it and he will be starting for us next year, so he deserves to make starters money, but nothing too crazy, just enough to reward him and get him locked up for the next four years.
