Outcomes of chance in our youth.
Homemade Fortune Teller-Don't leave home without one, or at least checking it to see if we should!
Choosing Sides- Many a game depended on the forming of teams this way
Knucks- No money involved, precious skin and blood was.
Flipping Cards-The only currency some had. If only we kept them, just not in shoe boxes some mothers threw out.

I remember, and was involved in, all those activities. Like so many, I was a baseball card (and comic book) freak. Remember pitching cards against a wall? Or my favorite, playing "colors" with the cards? You could win or lose a ton of cards with colors.

BTW, I was one of the unlucky few who had a mom who one day just threw out my cards and stack of comic books. It still bothers me.

Meet a guy with a great mom who also threw away (with the shoebox),containing my baseball cards . Must have been show right before I Love Lucy , How Not To Realize They're Baseball Cards.

WTF was up with these women? lol It must have been the era, as I had all my cards in shoe boxes, too. What a simpler (and more fun) world.

My mom threw out the box that contained my comic book collection. In it were the first five issues of MAD comics.
Today, that would be worth close to a $million.
Or more.
