Mets get Lindor, Carrasco for Gimenez, Rosario and two top prospects

Lindor is a free agent after this year, Carrasco, well let's see

Gimenez is going to be a star. Probably play with Kelenic and mutiple AL allstar teams. Rosario? He had value on a more responsible deal. The two other prospects are both 2nd round choices

Lindor is only two year older than Rosario and already an all-star.
I'll miss Gimenez, because I've been following his career from the time he impressed me while playing for Binghamton.
Carasco didn't just have a baseball injury - he was found to have Lukemia, so I hope the Mets medical staff has reviewed his progress.
The two minor leaguers the Mets gave up were from positions where they have strength in the minors.
So, overall, I like it. (And I've been a Mets fan since 1962, as my screen name indicates)

The number 1 or 2 on their prospect list (depending on which one you see) is another shortstop name Ronny Mauricio. I also liked Giminez, but I think they're well protected there.
