Tell me honestly, what have you seen from Zach Wilson in his two partial seasons as Starter that makes you believe he’s the future and from Mike White that makes you know he’s not?

oh his job is absolutely on the line & why wouldn't it be?! he was historically awful his rookie year & he's been historically awful this season as well.. & spoiler alert!! "the fans" have nothing to do with it.. full stop..

I have never proclaimed to “know” anything regarding how this will turn out. Zach’s detractors, however, have already banged the final nail in Wilson’s coffin. I still believe that Wilson was given the starting job too early in the NFL. I get it, he’s the #2 overall pick and that’s what you’re supposed to do. In hindsight, Wilson needed time with a clipboard. He still needs to put everything together in my opinion. I think he’s got some real potential to grow from this experience and be a good QB. People can kill me for that opinion all they want. I don’t really care.
White? We’ve seen spurts of good and some bad, too. Of course, the White apologists only focus on the good. I get it. I think the jury is out on both QB’s. Let White take the reins right now and let’s see what he can do. I’m rooting for Jets victories regardless of who’s at QB.
Know this about me. I want Zach Wilson on this roster. I just don’t think he’s ready to lead this team yet .

Yes and no. I'm not anointing White as the savior and closing the book on Wilson. Just saying that White is producing more results right now than Wilson has and of course results resonate with the players. Actually I personally don't think White will ever be our guy because he's not mobile enough. I'm not 100% sure yet that Zach is our guy either but he has all the physical traits we need in a QB but he needs to grow up and make a lot of improvements in his defensive reads, speed of reading those defensive reads, and getting the ball out of his hands much faster and certainly more accurately. Throwing the ball at your receivers feet or directly to an opponent doesn't usually make winning games very easy. As it stands right now, Zach isn't, in my opinion, ready to lead this team.

That’s a fair assessment. We’re not that far apart in our views.
I will say this in White’s defense, he throws a nice short pass into the flat. He’s miles ahead of Zach on those throws. Nice zip right to the RB or WR. He just needs to be better on some timing throws downfield. He just missed a few big passes today. The one to GW was a killer. That was a 60-70 yard TD. GW would’ve taken that to the house. I almost fell out of my chair. Inches. More reps with the 1st team will hopefully work that out.
I think Saleh is going full reset here. Get him away for a few weeks and start over with him. I don’t think this is what people are making it out to be.
I agree. He needs to watch a lot more tape and Really learn and remember what opposing defenses are doing so that he doesn't have to waste valuable seconds trying to figure it out after the snap. He needs to know what he's going to do before the ball is snapped and get through his reads quickly and be rid of the ball. .....................Among other things...........................
