I moved it bc it's a football forum and we're discussing what we think can solve the the racial divide in this country. Someone who's here for football can be turned off by it. I know they can choose to ignore it and you will call me a "pussy" but that's how I feel. If there's a chance someone could get offended by something being said here, it's unnecessary. Off topic area is a fine place for it.
I do do agree with you that everyone was being respectful. that is probably the most respectful I've seen most people be on this forum. I appreciate it. I know it's a grenade of a topic.
I enjoy reading everyone's point of view regardless of the topic.

Note: Yes I'm assuming your referring to me because it appeared to me that I was the only one debating with everyone on the thread. Yes it was respectful to a certain extent. Except for me and Bigmoe but he truly pissed me off. So I had to get back at him but everyone else it was respectful (I'm guessing) as can be on a topic like this.

Pretty cool conversation that was germane to football and sports in general and yes can spark emotional and political fire in all of us. To the folks that posted though it was one of the best and most civil conversations I've seen so far on the topic. Nice work to all. Too bad the media and Washington can't follow suit. jets82 while I didn't agree with everything you said you did open some eyes...

Jets82, it could have just easily been me he is referring to, but that's fine. I didn't even know there was a thread about the subject...but I agree that it is off topic. This should be about the play on the field..the politics off of it, before the game etc. can and should be discussed civilly, but in a different forum. That's my view.
I'm not quite sure why you think it would be you if you didn't know there was a thread on the topic. That's telling that you didn't post any comments on it but maybe your referring to another issue I'm not aware of. Either way, we as Jets fans we worked through it and that's all that mattered. Would be nice if the world could work through it also and solve all of our issues.
