So far the 49ers don't know the exact details, if it was a mild strain, a torn hammy or somewhere in-between, but for the time-being he's sidelined.

I don't wanna curse Q, so I'm not the least bit pleased and I wish Bosa a speedy and full recovery, but I did say, time and time again, that this was the icebreaker for me. I already believed Q was the best player in the draft, whereas Bosa played a more desirable position, so if I needed a tiebreaker this was it for me. JOEY Bosa has been in the league for 3 years and he's practically missed a full season, 13 Games. NICK Bosa tore his ACL as a Senior in HS so that ended his Senior Season, then he had some kind of groin/abdominal injury last year at Ohio State in his final year (and that wasn't his first injury at OSU) which also required serious surgery, so he essentially missed his final season in college too.

As I said many times, where it pertained to football talent the Bosa's were born with good genes, but where it came to durability ... not so much.

That's why I was hoping the 49ers would take Bosa and leave Q there for us.

Only injury I could find on Q (and I looked), going all the way back to Pee-Wee football .... he once hurt his pinky.

That was one of my concerns leading up to the draft as well. I had him pegged as accident prone.

Didn't like Bosa, especially after the Twitter noise but hopefully he gets back on the field and sucks as opposed to being injury prone ...not a fan of wishing injuries on players or teams

I'm not surprised. He hasn't played football in almost a year, so he an injury like this was likely. And as I said during the pre-draft process, he looked bulked up and somewhat slower than he did in college. So he is probably less flexible than he was before he started training for the combine. Combine shape and football shape are two different things.

I'm very happy with the Williams pick. It was the right move.
