Jets are one of five teams reportedly interested in Giants backup Guard/Center Brett Jones. He’s 28, and supposedly he graded out pretty well.

Ugh... if you can’t crack the starting oline on the Giants, your next team is the 1-5 Memphis Express, maybe.

I’m hoping that the change in coaching staffs and a REAL offensive coordinator/ game planner will do wonders for all the offensive players.
Maybe when facing a defense that knows what’s about to happen when the ball is snapped put the O at a huge disadvantage.

The 3rd rnd, Erik McCoy C Texas A&M,might slide to our pick, hopefully.
Alabamas pro day was today and Dan Jeremiah stayed that the C for Alabama( huge last name ) was thought to be a 4th or 5th rndr but was being highly thought oF.

Looking at a nfl draft guide, they have about 14 players for the oline, T,G, C that are rated as 2nd round talent.
Thats not taking into account the 1st or 3rd round rated players.
My point is, 14 players for the oline are not going in the 2nd round. Not with this being a defense heavy draft, so some or most should slide to round 3.
Good thing the Jets have 2 third rounders.
J. Allen/Bosa/Q. Williams at 3. C/G/T at 3rd rnd C/G/T other 3 rnd.
Thats with out a trade back of course.

I have had a thought about how to bolster the OL a bit more. If the Jets deal the #3 pick with the Redskins, what if one of the assets coming back was Chase Roullier instead of a draft pick? So rather than a third as part of the compensation package, the Jets got Roullier to come in and immediately be C1.

josh sitton has decided to retire. there were reports he could land with the jets after being cut by the dolphins. obviously nothing happened since his release, but this seems to close the door
