He shouldn't be a WR #6. He has talent to be a #2. Maybe his mentality isn't there or he just can't lean the playbook or all three WR position well enough. Maybe its all three! This is ridiculous for this kid to be that good to possibly great but can't get no playing time.

Exactly. Conklin was supposedly having a great camp. Lefleur apparently thought we were winning by focusing on G.Wilson and Breece Hall. We have two TE’s and other WR’s, and it seemed like they were an afterthought.

for years, we drafted top defensive lineman, none ever pan out even though they look like can’t lose. We still can’t get after the qb

JD gets here and for the first time someone realizes we need an offensive line. He brings in and drafts multiple good players. Where are they all now?
They got paid, they got hurt without even playing a game or two and they are sitting home counting there money watching Sunday ticket or playing Madden

Th o-line has been a massive disappointment, especially yesterday. I expect struggles when the Tackle position is decimated with injuries, but the IOL has no excuses. Tomlinson, McGovern and AVT were bad yesterday. No holes for the RB’s, and we couldn’t get the offense into a rhythm as a result. It’s ridiculous to have Joe Flacco throwing that much in every game. This offense has to run the ball, and every time they did, it was two yards and a cloud of dust.

All said and done, it comes down to coaching. Good coaches know how to
-prepare and motivate
-make in-game adjustments
-do the best with the players they have to work with.

The consensus is that the Jets have an above-average talent pool. Yet, we've been staging very inept performances so far.
In reality, since Parcells, we have NOT had even one upper-echelon head coach....
(I'll certainly give a conditional thumbs-up to Rex for the first half of his tenure though).

Soooo, if Saleh keeps steadily going down the hill of proving that he can't be an NFL HC, give a blank check to Sean Payton before anyone else!!

I don't think Sean Payton is dumb enough to come here. I really don't. He is going to Denver. They will fire their HC if the Broncos keep looking that bad or don't make the play-offs. I think Payton will want a Team poised to win. Denver is that if there is a HC vacancy after this Season. Jets are not even close.

watched a bit of saleh's presser today & as you might have guessd he was asked about the most recent miscommunication that resulted in a TD.. fun fact, according to saleh all NFL teams have multiple miscommunications every game.. as many as 6 to 7 of them.. then he went on to say something to the effect, the jets have just been unlucky with the timing of theirs..

as far as franklin-myers & davis' crushing personal fouls, he said "they're not trying to make those mistakes...it happens.."

i'm not rooting against the guy because starting over at HC after only 2 years (back to back) would be just brutal.. that said i have seen & heard enough.. i would be stunned if he turns this around..

Actually, I was just thinking JD has put or is putting together a team that a good coach would like to come and coach. Parcells could have done great things with this roster.

the other thing that really sucks here is how many players we are paying to sit home after getting injured without a regular season snap

I know we have been same old all season, but none of us thought this team would beat the Jags or Bengals when the schedule came out. None of us.
