The Jets are still winning despite Zach’s play. To be honest, Zach misses 3-4 passes a game that can truly make the difference in his stats. Biggest thing he’s doing to help this team is avoiding big sacks and not turning the ball over.

He’s keeps the team alive by doing just that. IF he and I know it’s a big IF, but if his accuracy and reading the defense quick enough can ever get better than he can be a straight monster! Lets give him some more time and just all hope he gets there!
I like it when you have rational posts with the word "IF". I know you understand where Zach is. I know you also understand why some of us think he is not the guy. There are definitely 3-4 passes a game that could give over 200 yards passing or 3-4 turnovers. These LB's and CB's are dropping many INT's. Its a game of inches for sure. None of us know where he will be, but we all hope he will be great.

I certainly hope he will get it all together. I think he will so I'm not giving up on him yet. His decision making this time, while not great, was not all bad either. He protected the ball and avoided losing yards to sacks and that under the conditions he was operating under was a real challenge. The problem was that Denver's defense was playing much faster than our offense. The penalties against our offense clearly show that. Sometimes being a good game manager is more productive than a strong passing arm. He can fix the accuracy problem. I'll wait it out and make my decision on him at the end of the season not now when he has barely played any games.

Your right, we don't know! Zach may not turn out to be our guy but the one thing we must give him is he's not standing in the teams' way of winning so far! Now he needs to truly step up and lead this team with our BEST OFFENSIVE WEAPON AND TWO BEST OFFENSIVE LINEMAN INJURED FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR! Let's see what he can do now. This team still has more than enough weapons to compete, but we don't have our security blankets anymore. Breece and AVT were our security blankets. This hurts bad but its football and things like this happen. Seems to happen more to the Jets than anyone else!!!

Zach now has to step up and make it happen. Read the defenses more quickly, anticipate where his weapons will be and be alot more accurate, make things happen when there not necessarily there. You know, what J. Allen and Mahomes is doing now and what A. Rodgers, T. Brady and P. Manning used to do. Is this asking ALOT of him now, of course it is but he's going to have to do it if this team still wants to win. The Jets still have a defense and special teams to be reckoned with, but they will wear down if the offense drops the ball now. The oline and running game isn't the same and Zach and the WRs/TEs have to pick up the slack.
