Jets defense is overrated and the players believed it. I had a feeling they weren't as good as advertised. Last years rankings were because of many 2nd and 3rd string QB's. They will be fine vs poor offenses, but get exposed by good ones. I expect 1-5 before the bye and end up with a 6-11 record. Thats if they bench Zach.

not sure about the record by the bye but the D can't just be good in print........It has to show it on the field week by week. One of the problems in NY in general......Don;t read the press play ball guys

The defense definitely has not performed well against the top offenses (they pretty much get exposed). There are a lot of adjustments that need to be made both offensively and defensively. Our defense feasted on 2nd/3rd tier QB's last season and that may have given them some bloated numbers and a false sense of success.

For the amount of capital we've burned and continue to burn on the defense, we really looked pedestrian at times and LB/S was ignored again and is a problem back there.

JD seems to take a draft pick/make a signing here/there, then spend the rest of the offseason patting himself on the back. O line has been a problem his entire tenure here, yet the draft approach was "oh well we missed out on who we wanted, so we'll just draft everything else at this point".

Unless McDonald can lineup at Tackle/Guard or go run some routes at WR, I simply don't understand the damn pick.
