Draft right now CeeDee Lamb looks like a solid replacement for RA but no guarantees he can be that guy...

But how but this scenario, bring back a local guy back home while completing two for one type deal... What it would cost to keep Robby Anderson the Jets can get two free agents entering their prime will be entering next season at 25 years old (both of these guys)... This would allow two options to grow with Darnold...

First Tajee Sharpe from Newark NJ, it would be a home coming for Sharpe and would replace RA as the vertical deep threat the Jets had for these past years... Signing Laquon Treadwell would replace the possession style of Demaryius Thomas... Add in the rest of the receiving core the Jets would fill the void of need in the draft at this position...

Listening to offers on Crowder should be in the cards this offseason but only if they get good return should the team entertain the idea of moving Jamison... Braxton Berrios could be Crowder's replacement in the slot if Jamison is moved... Vyncint Smith and Josh Malone would complete this group...

The only move I would make would be to sign FA receiver Terry Godwin II who is currently a FA was drafted 7th round by the Panthers this year and is only 21...

I would definitely be interested in bringing back RA. Before him, the Jets had long been searching for a deep threat. They finally found one.

I'd love to see Lamb drafted and Anderson re-signed. Lamb is exactly the type of WR this offense needs. Excellent route runner who can pile up the YACs.

I'd like to see Anderson resigned, at a reasonable price. He has earned a pay raise but not too much, Another thing to consider is that Vyncint Smith is every bit as fast as Robbie and with more playing time could develop into a deep threat as well. Lamb is certainly worth the gamble, which every draft player is in my opinion because you never know how well they will adapt to the NFL style of play. Sharpe intrigues me because he has pretty good numbers considering he usually only gets targeted a couple of times a game and he fits in with the team getting young.

Great point about Smith
I think Smith is actually faster in game speed than Anderson.
Both have the same 40 in shorts but Smith plays faster. I believe he was clocked at 20.78 MPH in game this past season.

I rather us paying Tajee Sharpe a 5 year $30 M deal and Laquon Treadwell a 5 year $25 M deal then over pay for part time production...

I agree G. Robbie is not worth that much and as I said above I really think that Smith with more reps could easily take over the reins as our deep threat. Still, I see no downside to adding more receivers. I'm not that familiar with Treadwell so I really have no opinion on him. If we had known what Robbie's attitude was going to be we could have gotten real value for him in a trade so we lost out there.

In fairness Robby has not once mentioned any amount when repeatedly asked. The speculation is that his value on the market will be $14-15 Million.
He should have been extended immediately after the trade deadline when he was estatic to still be with the Jets. Could have gotten him at $10-12 and everyone would have been happy. Can't fault him for wanting to test the waters, he was just being shoped. Don't get passing on the Eagles offer if the plan wasn't to extend him.
Now onto the big question, does Douglas attempt to extend Adams this off-season.

Don’t know anything about Sharpe.....but no on Treadwell. He was ok at Ole Miss....but he is a sloppy route runner with questionable hands Total bust in Minnesota ...... Don’t be surprised if RA is back on a reasonable deal. No way is he getting $15MM on the FA market from anyone This draft is way too deep on receivers I would say 3 yr 27MM with $18MM guaranteed is a respectable deal for both sides

12 m Max for Robby, I love his hands. There are a lot of fast guys out there, but he has great hands. I love his chemistry with Sam, He's really the only player with that chemistry. But at over 12 M I just don't see it that he remains a Jet....

I'm for retaining anyone that we drafted who is good. Shouldn't be hard as there aren't many of them. Hopefully he stays for a little less to avoid moving and starting over. Or hopefully only shitty teams like ours, are interested. Why go to a shitty team when you are already on one unless you are getting an obscene pay check

He's got pretty good chemistry with Crowder as well. I think 12M is too much but the Jets like him and the chemistry already developed between him and Sam so they might do it. I wouldn't. I think Smith with enough reps could move right into that spot. Another thought that I have is that he has now made it clear that it's all about the money for him so my concern is what kind of player will he be after he gets his big deal ? I'd offer 10, no more than 11 and that's it because I think Smith has the potential to be even better.
