Everything I heard pointed to Jalin Marshall as being a great player. A true gem that no one knew about.

Well, after watching 3 preseason games, that is not quite correct. Robbie Anderson is the true diamond in the rough. Sure, Jalin is a good player and should also make the team. But Marshall drops a LOT of passes. Robbie Anderson is the best of all the 7th rounders and UDFA's. Robbie Anderson can truly be a player for us if he bulks up a little....

Agree, but listen to WR coach Dorrell talk about both of these guys. I'll paraphrase - he said that Marshall actually has great hands, but has a tendency to jump and 'body catch' the ball. When he does that he drops the ball at times. They are trying to break him of that habit and catch the ball with his hands. He went on to say that JM has really improved lately in practice in that regard, but he did have at least one drop last night. Regarding Anderson's body type, he said that no question he is lean, but that is his natural body type and he shouldn't try and bulk up. As he matures Dorrell expects Anderson to get stronger and fill-out somewhat but not unnaturally.
