Man Im so proud of this Jets team! Adams came out and played like a Great Safety today and motivated the entire Defense that carried over to the Offense! Defense ,Adams scoring that TD was the difference in winning! Darnold played OK , its a good game for Darnold if no INTs are thrown. But Darnold talking playoffs? Not with him at QB. Jones was cleatrly the waaay better QB on the field in this game. Jones had 300yds passing with 4 TDs and QB rating 150. Darnold was 200 yds passing with 1 TD and QB rating of 105. Giants Jones looked like the real deal at QB passing! Jones with less games than Darnold and Jones has already passed Darnold in skill set of sensing Defenses around him and great field vision to open WRs. Jones only had Tate to get open and still threw 300 yds 4 TDs. Jones did take some hits by he will def. get better next year. At least Darnold had no turn overs so our Defense and Offense had a chance to win. How many times can Darnold play a zero turn over game? Darnold has scripted Pass Plays where he is passing to. He had people wide open but threw pass play designed to certain WR no matter what. Im not sure why that was happening, is it because Darnold cant think fast enough under pressure? Sure looks like it was designed to pass to only 1 WR in each designated pass play. Jets needs to draft a QB next draft. Darnold should be far better than Jones in 2nd year and not stuggling for 200 yds and 1 TD.
