I know what you're saying. But it would probably happen less is the Jets' picks were a little more successful. That is especially so at the QB position. If Hack doesn't pan out, expect the Jets to be excoriated. And expect more criticisms in future drafts.

I hear you, but the Jets' picks haven't been that bad, and it is a pretty new regime. And the Pats' picks haven't been that good. Yet it still happens.

I have no problem with Sanchez, but I think this shows just how biased the media are. They are quick to call out LOLJets for having Sanchez, but praise the Broncos for having him. It's like draft picks. It doesn't matter who the Jets take, they get questioned, and it doesn't matter who the Patriots take, they get praised.

Agreed 1,000,000,000,000,000 percent

An effective Zone Blocking run first offense.
3 & out Defense that backs teams up with sacks & gets a lot of take-aways.

Two things needed for Sanchez to be a solid starter. I think he'll do well bc he has the type of team that doesn't force the QB to carry the team...he isn't that guy.

I've always been a Sanchez supporter, but he has his limitations. Having said that, this offense is one that can allow him to run it without forcing it, and he'll give them some good moments with play action too.

I really wish him luck in the second half of his career.

Last year team if Sanchez was a part of that Bronco team, that style of play might have been enougH to win( Denver was clearly the best team in that division).

That isn't the case anymore as both The Chiefs and the Raiders have caught up to them. Qb play is going to decide that division as a Qb might not carry his team, ( not against those defenses) but he has to limit the mistakes. ( Mark Sanchez more than likely to make those mistakes).

I can't see the Bronco's winning the Afc West with Mark Sanchez starting. John Elway knows this, and at some point he get another veteran Qb to lead them.

I have always and will always be a Sanchez fan. He was studious and played his heart out for us.

Though the front office really wasnt content in developing his talents. It seemed Tanny and Rex had no idea what to do with him and how to make him grow into an NFL ready QB. They continuously wanted to change his style:

Ground and pound game manager..

Gun Slinger....

Two QB system with Time Tebow..

It seemed like the people at the top couldnt contain themselves on what route was best for Marks development. Yet they were IMHO the reason for Marks failure his final years here.

Sure. He was a nice guy. But he was a TERRIBLE QB. Right up there with Geno, possibly even worse, a 100% turnover machine. You can't win football games that way. Time to move on. There's plenty of nice guys to be picked also.

Raideraholic, i think you're going to be a happy fan this year. i think the Raiders are going to turn into one of the AFC's power houses for quite awhile. If i were you i'd be ecstatic if Sanchez starts both regular season games against the Raiders.

mine as well.. seemingly a decent young man that was the starting QB in two of my favorite jet seasons of my life..

what he was or wasn't or will never be as a QB has no bearing on that for me..

i wish him well in denver..

Agree

If Idzik wasn't such a jerk we might not have had to be exposed to the stank of Geno. Wish him luck

can we move on yet we have two very interesting QB's of our own and a headcase on the team. If we add metzenberger or fitz comes back shaping up to be a very interesting year.
