Tariqious Tisdale Scouting ReportTisdale flashes nimble feet to chase running backs and mobile quarterbacks to the sideline when lined up at end. He spins off blocks to get back into the play. He combines strength and footwork to fill holes inside. He recovers from cut blocks or falling on his way to make a tackle. He delivers a strong punch and uses his hands to shed blocks to make plays in the hole or outside the box. He uses lower body strength to anchor inside. He can make the impressive chest to chest bear hug tackle in the hole due to his ability to wreak havoc in the backfield. He is agile run stopper at end, extends to grab backs from the backside and possesses foot quickness and hustle to chase plays downfield or to the sideline.

Areas for ImprovementTisdale never out of the play, but can get out of control and work himself away from the action. He rarely the first player off the snap, even when lined up over the ball. He has the length, effort and short area quickness still pressures double teams and helps penetrate gaps. He plays tall and gets upright off the snap. He wins with upper strength and needs to focus on leverage. He stands up well against the run but is very pursuit conscious and will take unneeded wide angles. He isn't able to consistently shed blocks and make plays in the hole.

Tariqious Tisdale Career at Ole MissTisdale was rated a three star defensive end by all media outlets. He played for head coach Bryant Hollingsworth at Lexington (Tenn.). He was named Class 4A Region 7 Defensive Linemen of the Year. Received offers from Ole Miss, Miss State and Tennessess among other schools. He went to Nortwest Mississippi CC Junior College to play one season. He played in eleven games starting five tallying 31 tackles, 5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss. As a true sophomore at Ole Miss, Tisdale appeared in all 12 games, making two starts on the defensive line. He registered 33 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss and one sack. Followed up in his Junior campaign appearing in all 12 games on the defensive line, finishing the season with 28 tackles. He tallied 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. During his senior year he battled injuries, but appeared in six games with four starts. He racked up 19 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss on the season. He exercised additional year of eligibility due to pandemic. He is a member of the 2021 Reese's Senior Bowl Top 250 list.

Tariqious Tisdale NFL Draft Player ProfileLining up primarily at 4i for the Rebels, Tisdale shows that he is a very impressive athlete, possessing great burst. His lateral agility makes him a rangy run defender at the first level. Tisdale has very good length which he uses to his advantage, outreaching blockers. He generates knockback out of his hips when arriving at extension. Tisdale stands high blockers up off the ball. His length allows him to re-win gaps as linemen are rarely able to latch.
