The defense coming into this season is what we all figured would be the biggest strength. Most of us figured the defense would keep us in games. Well, the fact is, despite the defense playing much better the last 2 weeks they are still not playing up to anywhere near their potential. Besides, the Miami game the defense has been gashed on the ground. That cannot continue to happen if the Jets want to win more games or if they actually want to beat good teams?
The thing is, we all know they are perfectly capable of doing just that. The Jets have one more warm up game in Cleveland and then things get really interesting. I figure they'll beat the Browns pretty easily? They should be taking this team to totally commit themselves to the fundamentals of tackling, blocking, and overall run defense.
It's actually fun to watch this team right now. They're exciting and that's a huge departure from what I figured I'd watch this season? It would be a real shame to see this season get out of hand because of something everyone knows they can dominate and yet for some strange reason didn't, and in turn, screwed over a lot of young players that are really giving it their all right now.........
