Todd Bowles surgery

Coach Bowles revealed today at his combine press conference that shortly after the season he had surgery to remove a golf ball sized tumor from his neck area. It was determined that the tumor was benign and no further treatment was considered necessary

Good news for the Coach and his family and for all fans of the New York Jets

I had similar surgery two years ago. 3 growths in my neck and side of my face. Thankfully, the results are the same. It took 21 stitches and I thought I looked like Son of Chucky.
There was a plastic surgeon as part of the team. The scar was along my cheek line, near the jaw and ear. Today, the scar is almost totally faded and that side of my face looks like I had a facelift. But because it was too tender to shave there, for a few weeks I felt like Wolverine.
