I like that Romo is just cocky enough that he doesn't feel the need to slurp current or former players. He just gives credit where it's due.
I like Aikman for the same reason, but he is not as talented as Romo...IMO.

The difference between winning football games and losing football games when you have two teams like the Bengals and the Chiefs is the ability to make a play when your team needs a play and there’s no play to be made .
In those instances you have to understand your scheme, the defense and have the savvy to orchestrate within the noise.
Only 1 of those guys have that ability . Mahommes relies on his abilities in situations like those and for the most part he succeeds . Burrow uses his abilities and his understanding of the game to navigate those situations . Maybe I’m wrong and let’s face it I have been far too many times, but I can’t ever remember a game where Burrow hasn’t had his team in position to win

I agree, but not to start with those who find him "hip", I simply let it be.
I'll take a Marty Glickman or a Marv Alpert or Vin Skully as mentioned any day.
Love for the game, not just the dead Presidents on green paper.

Don Criqui started off in N.Y. doing Wednesday night Knick games on channel 9. I looked forward in school to the evening. (Actually looked forward to most evenings while in school). Similar to so many, he went national. Marty Glickman, Marv Alpert, Len Berman, Vin Skully, (Right) Mike Breen, and many before them. Vin Scully3.jpg

No disrespect...you're 15 years my junior. So, i caught the tail end of many of the announcer's careers that the rest of the guys here are speaking of; when they were still on top.

they were originals...the younger Buck is alright, but he is just a sanitized voice with no originality. IMO, a dime a dozen announcer!
