Thought I’d start a camp thread to consolidate goings-on.

*Trumaine Johnson injures his hammy today after a pick 6 of Darnold. Crap. Weakest position just got worse.

*Ravens trade their second string kicker to the Vikings for a 5th round pick. Amazed we didn’t have interest. He’s supposedly pretty good.

*Marcus Maye is back practicing. That’s awesome news.

*Brian Winters has a shoulder injury being described as “day to day”.

Yeah, we all noticed that but hopefully that wasn’t a sign of him not improving at all from last year. I don’t think it was but it was a pass he shouldn’t have thrown that way.

Yeah I'm not worried about Sam. I was making light of the fact that he threw it to the most overpaid free agent the Jets have had in a long time or probably ever. TJ is trash and Douglas needs to get rid of this horrible FA signing ASAP. TJ is hurt now and I bet we won't even know it on the field. Our CB's are a giant hole and until JD fixes the mess left behind by the last GM we will be very disappointed with our pass D.

Darnold could go 24/27 with 350 yards and 3 TD’s, and the media would harp on some pass he made that was almost intercepted. That’s how much this guy is scrutinized.

I think it’s dumb. But he’s in NY and that’s what they do. If he was in AZ or Minnesota, they wouldn’t even care as long as he’s doing well overall.

Anyone hear anything on the Osemele injury - Strained Pec??? Those things could take many weeks to heal. Feel great about a lot of things but the Oline has not played one snap together and might not till after the season starts. My biggest regret on Douglas not having the reigns this past offseason is he would have solidified the Oline. He's now just trying to pick up available pieces. I feel next year he will make that a focus.

If it’s a strained pec, it shouldn’t be a big deal. He’s a veteran. He can’t suit up and play week one with no limitations.

Winters is week to week too. Not a serious injury. The o-line will be fine. We signed Alex Lewis, too. A starter for the Ravens. Not concerned at all about any of this.

I'm worried about those kind of passes until he stops making them. Brett Favre could do great things plenty of the time but did enough dumb things to plenty of times too. I believe his last pass with each of his 3 teams was a game ending int. I hope Darnold is smarter than Favre...

I haven't heard a bad thing in the media about Darnold. Nothing but good. That said, I watched some of the fantasy football stuff yesterday where they showed the top 20 quarterbacks and Darnold wasn't one of them. Brady was 15 though
