There are a handful of college coaches including Saban, Meyer and perhaps a couple of others that have been so successful at that level that their decisions and behavior (for the most part) are not questioned or criticized. The lists i see above would never have been issues in Tuscaloosa, Gainesville or Columbus. Meyer is learning that life is not the same in the NFL. Saban learned about being unsuccessful in Miami, Meyer has not had that experience yet (i know about the 0-4 record). my guess is that at some point in the next two - three years he'll retreat back to the college ranks or the golf course.
