4 episodes so far and I find it all extremely boring and pointless, yet it gets great reviews from everyone. Gotta be missing something.

If you like this show, what do you like about it?

Now Shameless, on the other hand is one of the best shows ever made and no one seems to care.

Did'ja know that Shameless is a redo of a UK show that ran for 11 seasons? The characters are, for the most part the same. For the first two or three seasons, the stories were copied from the UK show, but then the UK series' focus switched from those wacky Gallaghers to the Maguires (Mandy, Mickey etc).

Westworld actually goes up directly against Shameless and is a takeoff of the old Michael Crichton movie. Unfortunately it does not translate well into today. What I'm curious about is what anyone sees in this slow moving, poorly written out of date concept that gets top reviews.
