he was suppose to be the Jets 3rd round prospect as I said it many times the trade up to get Alijah Vera Tucker was suppose to be a 3rd & 4th but the Steelers came in late to a foundation of a trade that was set up almost six weeks in advance, it basically forced Joe Douglas to up the anti and offer both 3rds to move up. they were all antsy hoping Carter would be there in the 4th and when that pick came up they did not hesitate to make the deal. mind you the Jets tried to move up into the third round but the couple teams they talked to were asking for too much draft capitol so Joe stood pat and got his man anyway.

The 2021 draft was very good. Getting Carter at the top of the 4th was a steal. We just need a bruiser to compliment him, and the running game is complete. Hopefully we’ll find a mid-round back in this draft who fits that mold.
