that's the one thing Rex needed. an offensive coordinator who could run the offense on his own. but I think with time he would have figured things out. plus, if he hadnt had half his team given away, we may have gotten to a superbowl

the best way for a coach to gain players respect is to win games. in truth, the past 2 seasons, given our early schedule this has been near impossible. shy of that, you have to have been a winner somewhere else. which Gase has not been

I think we can do worse than 3-13

if all those players are gone, we honestly have nothing left but Becton

..and thats really bad because we have nothing with those players...

If we had Rex Ryan with GM Joe Douglas it could of been a hit combo... Rex Ryan is a defensive line guy... Joe Douglas offensive line, having both side of the trenches covered would of given Rex his ground and pound... Joe Douglas wouldn't need to acquire a superstar on defense side because Rex would of turned an average joe shmoe into then next superstar...

How about we start with Gase relinquishing the offensive play calling to the OC and see how things go from there!

Gase is a horrible play caller and has no business calling any offense

I don’t see any reason to keep Gase thru the remainder of the season. I think it would go a long way if the knucklehead Johnsons fire him after this weeks loss. Name Williams as the interim coach..... then can them all (except Boyer) at end of season. At least the players and fans would know that ownership means business ..... Let Douglass bring in his own guy .......

I wish it was that simple any other GM, HC relationship would be parted ways by now... But Gase got Douglas hired not mention they are friends so JD will give him leeway...

Adam Gase got Joe Douglas hired...
Joe Douglas won't fire Adam Gase because he can't...
They both report to Christopher Johnson...

So there is no way to torpedo, Gase unless he continues to torpedo this team as he has been doing...
Christopher Johnson has to realize like his brother they are just fans an can not publicly endorse coaches that have done nothing to deserve praise, and in the end will have to eat his words and cut bait then allow Joe Douglas to find his head coach, and start from scratch...

I get it alright. The Jets have had this horseshit rule of the GM and coach both report to the Johnsons.

Gase got Mac fired..... but of course he didn’t do it himself. He got the Johnsons to do it . JD could do the same. It’s probably a moot point anyways because if this team continues to play like this..... Gase will be gone. Even the knucklehead brothers have to see that the man simply cannot coach. Players hate him, fans hate him, and the team sucks. 3 strikes.....he is out
