I've been saying this for a couple years, but many on this site said I was crazy and negative. Nope. I paid attention to his track record and many said all GM's have failures. I'm sorry they don't have as many as Mac and if they do they will have the same 5-11, 5-11 and 4-12 record.
The problem is, a GM’s track record isn’t just the draft. It’s FA and trades, too. Macc was very good in trades and FA for the most part.
Yes, his drafts were sub par. 2015 in particular was atrocious outside of Leonard Williams. The jury is still out on 2018 and 2019. Some young players there that still need time to audition themselves.
