Will the Jets switch to 4-3 & how it will affect current roster

Secondary is unaffected will need to re-sign Marcus Maye...
Brian Poole a fan favorite is expendable...
Will need to target a free agent or two for safety as well as corner, plenty options from 49ers that are headed to FA...

Looking at the defensive line Quinnen Williams and Folorunso Fatukasi in this scenario would be the defensive tackles... Depth should be Nathan Sheperd behind Williams but we have no real second nose tackle... Wonder if Kerry Hyder or Solomon Thomas would be targeted...

Our defensive ends would be a cross between our defensive ends this year and outside linebackers, so with Jordan Jenkins & Tarell Basham free agents they could be expendable...

For a 4-3 defense, position linebackers could be filled by our inside linebacking core... Frankie Luvu could and should take one outside linebacking starting position... If CJ comes back he could be the QB at middle linebacker while either free agency sign that other outside linebacker starting role or re-sign Neville Hewitt who has shown he is a capable option...

It's my sincere hope that they do . I happen to think that the Jets defensive personnel is more suited to a 43 scheme than a 34 . We just need to add an edge rusher and another NT to backup foli. What the Jets do with the 2nd pick in the draft will go a long way to determine what we can do to our roster .

I always liked the 4-3 but there are rosters in this day & age that are better with a 3-4 some like the Cards switch at times..I like the thought here

The Jets wasted the career of Leonard Williams and now he's having fun playing in a 43 for the Jints . We almost traded Williams doing the same junk .
